The Manager – Carole Fellows

Hi, I’m Carole – your registered manager with dirt under my fingernails and a camera always ready.

Over my 25 years supporting people in residential homes, nursing care, and community settings, I’ve learned that being a care home manager is unlike any other role. It’s ever-changing, full of unexpected joys, and deeply meaningful.

At Lake View, we have a simple philosophy: all our residents deserve a good day, every day. That’s what we strive for, and it starts with me getting to know each individual personally – I always have time for them and anyone important to them.

I’ve been with South West Care Homes since early 2023, and I’m particularly proud to lead our company-wide Green Agenda Project. We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact while enhancing the lives of those we support. It’s about caring for our residents AND our planet.

When I’m not at Lake View, you’ll find me in my potting shed (gardening is my therapy), behind my camera capturing natural beauty, crocheting something colourful, or exploring the outdoors looking for wildlife.

My door is always open for residents, families, and our team. Come chat – I’d love to meet you and show you what makes Lake View special.
